En atención al decreto 364-21 emitido por el presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, que dispone que el toque de queda y las demás medidas descritas en los artículos del 5 al 20 del decreto número 349-21, del 30 de mayo de 2021, quedan extendidas hasta el miércoles 16 de junio de 2021, la Comisión de Emergencia Municipal PRO-VIDA ratifica todas las medidas dispuestas en la resolución 01-21 emitida el miércoles 02 de junio del año 2021 en Barahona.
El Lic. Mictor Fernández, alcalde de Barahona y quién preside la comisión, dijo que en la reunión del miércoles 02, se había acordado mantener las medidas en dependencia a las disposiciones de la presidencia, más aún porque Barahona sigue ocupando uno de los primeros lugares entre las provincias con mayor número de contagios y positividad por el COVID-19 registrado en el país, llegando a alcanzar un 24.96% en el último reporte. Por tal razón en el municipio se mantendrán todas las medidas anunciadas, que son:
Suspender todas las actividades masivas públicas y privadas en el municipio de Barahona, establecer en las entradas a la ciudad (Chequeo de Santa Elena y Cruce de Cabral) desinfección de vehículos, entrega de kits de prevención, y supervisión de los vehículos de transporte públicos y privados para que guarden las medidas establecidas. Retomar la supervisión y establecimiento de las medidas de distanciamiento fisico en los comercios e instituciones privadas y públicas.
Restringir la entrada a los supermercados, solo permitir el 50% de clientes de acuerdo a la capacidad del local, para evitar la aglomeración de personas y respetar el protocolo de distanciamiento. Desinfección del área comercial completa, incluyendo los bancos, después de terminar cada jornada de servicios. Cerrar a partir del toque de queda, todos los espacios públicos, playas y malecón de Barahona. No permitir el destape y consumo de bebidas alcohóliicas en los lugares de expendio. Redoblar la vigilancia por parte de los cuerpos policiales y militares, entre otros. Tomar fotos en los comercios de los barrios que no acaten las medidas, como prueba y luego cerrarlos. Arreciar campaña de vacunación y distanciamiento a través de perifoneo, y que el ministerio público no varíe ninguna medida relacionada a las disposiciones de esta resolución sin consultar a la comisión.
