Reclamos de productores en la Guazara está lleno de ilegalidad

El conflicto por el agua mantiene a los guazareros enfrentados con el Consorcio Azucarero Central, desde hace tiempo.

Barahona.- El acueducto construido por el entonces Ingenio Barahona  Company, es la manzana de la discordia cada vez que inicia la zafra. Una fuente cercana al consorcio, revelo a pulsodelsur.net  que los productores agrícolas de la Guazara, no cuentan con canal de riego, por lo que usan conexiones ilegales que afectan la producción y las operaciones en la fábrica de la compañía arrendataria del ingenio.

Cada inicio de zafra se dan hechos como los que acontecen, ya que la empresa se ve en la obligación de tener de que desconectar todas las conexiones ilegales, que los productores hacen para irrigar, pero que afectan las operaciones en planta, revelo la fuente. Es
