Plan Social en tu provincia interviene La Ceiba, Ansonia y Las Barias en Azua con una inversión de más de 4 millones de pesos
Durante el operativo se realizaron techados de vivienda, equipamientos completos de hogares y sustitución de anafes por estufas. Se entregaron además electrodomésticos y miles de raciones de alimentos secos.
Azua.- Con una inversión de más de 4 millones de pesos, el Plan de Asistencia Social de la Presidencia benefició cientos de familias de esta provincia, durante un amplio operativo encabezado Iris Guaba, directora de la institución en La Ceiba, Ansonia y Las Barias.
Un total de 18 camiones partieron desde la sede principal del PASP en Santo Domingo, cargados de hojas de zinc, madera, estufas, colchones, cilindros de gas, juegos de colchones, juegos de salas, neveras, entre otros artículos, así como un amplio operativo médico con las unidades odontológicas móviles de la institución.
La directora general, Iris Guaba, quien estuvo acompañada de la gobernadora provincial Walkiria Feliz junto a los diputados Julio Brito y Luís Vargas, expresó que la acción se enmarca dentro del programa “Plan Social en Tu Provincia”, con el cual impactan de forma integral y positiva en comunidades de todo el país.
“En nombre del Gobierno hemos venido a estas comunidades de Azua a extender el brazo solidario a cientos de familias de escasos recursos, para hacer más llevadera sus vidas, con soluciones para sus hogares. Nuestros equipos de trabajo previamente habían realizado los levantamientos que determinan las necesidades de las familias, y hoy estamos aquí para empezar a dar respuesta a la gente de estas comunidades».
Tras asegurar que esas mismas acciones se realizarán de forma paulatina en otras comunidades de Azua, Iris Guaba informó que la prioridad del Plan Social, como lo establece la misión de la institución, es dar respuesta a la franja poblacional más empobrecida del país, buscando no solo dignificar sus vidas, sino además, sembrando esperanzas y alegrías en los hogares de las y los dominicanos.
El programa Plan Social en tu Provincia, ya se ha hecho sentir en Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, Santiago, La Vega, Espaillat, La Altagracia, entre otras provincias, y se mantienen de forma permanente realizando levantamientos para dar respuesta a la población.
