Comisión del MINERD y gobernador de visitan centros educativos de Barahona, que presentan problemáticas

BARAHONA.-Una comisión del Ministerio de Educación, integrada por el director de Mantenimiento de Edificaciones Escolares, Adolfo Cedeño y Milton Torres, encargado de la Unidad de Fiscalización de Obras, acompañado del gobernador Pedro Peña Rubio, visitaron varios centros educativos en comunidades de esta provincia, que presentan problemáticas, por trabajos paralizados, falta de aulas, verjas, sistema sanitario, así como falta de terrenos para construcción de escuelas. 
La comitiva, visitó la escuela Copa La Hoya, Batey Altagracia, Básica Fidelina Féliz Matos en La Guázara, supervisó terrenos en la sección Habanero, comunidad que requiere la ampliación de la escuela.
La escuela Copa La Hoya, se realizan trabajos de reforzamiento en su estructura, los cuales se encuentran paralizados desde el pasado año por falta de pagos al contratista, situación que prometieron conocer y solucionar las autoridades del MINERD.
El centro educativo del Batey Altagracia de Fundación, se encuentran en mal estado, además de la falta de aulas, cocina, baños y se requiere la adquisición de terrenos para la construcción de un nuevo centro.
La escuela Básica del distrito municipal de la Guázara, donde se integró el director regional de Educación, Ramón López Inoa, faltan aulas, verja perimetral, construcción de baños y remozamiento de la cancha.
También, visitaron terrenos en la comunidad de Habanero, donde el Misterio de Educación, tiene contemplado la ampliación del centro educativo.
Los representantes del MINERD, asumieron el compromiso de agilizar los procesos a fin de que dichas problemáticas sean solucionadas y los estudiantes puedan recibir docencia en lugares apropiados .
Dicha comisión se trasladó a Barahona, antendiendo un pedido del gobernador Pedro Peña, ante los constantes reclamos de las comunidades señaladas.
