Santo Domingo.- El Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (INESPRE) y el Instituto Dominicano para la Calidad (INDOCAL) suscribieron un acuerdo de colaboración interinstitucional para la estandarización de los procesos de compra y contrataciones públicas del primero, en aras de prevenir la corrupción, y promover la integridad y transparencia en el uso de los fondos del Estado.
El objetivo de este acuerdo es sentar las bases para el proceso de certificación del INESPRE, a través del INDOCAL, en las normas ISO 9001 sobre Sistemas de Gestión, ISO 37001 de Antisoborno, e ISO 37301 de Cumplimiento Normativo, que permitirán eficientizar los controles para prevenir y detectar a tiempo errores e irregularidades en los procesos de compras públicas que desarrolla dicha institución.
El convenio se enmarca dentro del Programa de Cumplimiento Regulatorio establecido mediante el Decreto 36-21 del presidente Luis Abinader, que busca potenciar los controles y procedimientos del Estado para el desarrollo de estándares de buenas prácticas en la Administración Pública.
Mediante este convenio, el INDOCAL se compromete a brindar de manera oportuna a INESPRE los servicios para la adquisición de las normas aplicables al proceso y gestionar las solicitudes de certificación.
De su lado, INESPRE deberá adquirir las normas en el INDOCAL, solicitar las capacitaciones para su personal y realizar la implementación de los sistemas de gestión necesarios para la obtención y mantenimiento de las certificaciones La vigencia de este acuerdo será por dos años contados a partir de su firma
