Puerto Plata.- El Seguro Nacional de Salud (SeNaSa) realizó este sábado una jornada de afiliación en el polideportivo Liga Proyecto Montemar, en Puerto Plata, la cual contó con la presencia del ministro administrativo de la presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, en representación del excelentísimo señor presidente de la República, Luis Abinader; el director ejecutivo de la adminstradora estatal, el doctor Santiago Hazim y otras autoridades gubernamentales.
«El crecimiento de la Provincia de Puerto Plata no se detiene. Desde hace muchos años se convirtió en uno de los polos turísticos más importantes de la República Dominicana y hoy estamos aquí por un mandato del señor presidente Luis Abinader y la vicepresidenta Raquel Peña, para poder darles el respaldo que ustedes necesitan», dijo el doctor Santiago Hazim al dirigir una palabras a los presentes.
Agregó además que «El Seguro Nacional de Salud ha logrado lo que ninguna otra ARS ha logrado, convirtiéndose en la más grande del país en tiempo récord, gracias a que el pueblo dominicano ha depositado su confianza en nosotros». Sepan que esa confianza no será defraudada y continuaremos brindándoles servicios de calidad, buscando cada día mejorar para el beneficio de todos los ciudadanos dominicanos.
Por su lado, el ministro administrativo de la presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, expresó que «Todos los dominicanos y dominicanas pueden tener la certeza de que ante cualquier eventualidad de salud podrán contar con el respaldo de SeNaSa, ya que les puedo asegurar que con la gestión del doctor Hazim no quedará un solo ciudadano que no tenga acceso a un seguro digno con cobertura nacional».
«Si algo poderoso hemos logrado construir en este Gobierno, de la mano del presidente Luis Abinader es la labor que se ha realizado en estos 20 meses en SeNaSa, proveyéndoles de un servicio de tanta calidad y con todas las garantías del sistema», agregó.
Durante el desarrollo de la jornada en el sector de Montemar en Puerto Plata le fueron entregadas de manera simbólica, cartas de afiliación a los ciudadanos Rufina Castillo y Américo Cid, de la mano del Doctor Hazim y José Ignacio Paliza.
Labor constante
La ciudad de Puerto Plata cuenta a la fecha con más de 120 mil afiliados al Seguro Nacional de Salud tanto en el Régimen Contributivo como en el Régimen Subsidiado, además de los pensionados y jubilados.
Desde el 2020 hasta la fecha, se han invertido en esta Provincia en procedimientos quirúrgicos y ambulatorios más de 318 millones de pesos y, en enfermedades de Alto Costo, como insuficiencia renal crónica, enfermedades respiratorias, enfermedades cardiovasculares, reemplazo articular y material de osteosíntesis; y enfermedades cardiovasculares, la inversión supera los 143 millones de pesos.
También se han venido desarrollando diversos programas de Promoción y Prevención, como son los programas Nutrisalud y el Programa de Nutrición Para el Adulto Mayor, en los que se han realizado unas 46 mil evaluaciones. Además de esto, tenemos los programas para la detección temprana del cáncer, cubriendo la realización de sonografías y mamografías.
