Barahona.- Con la entrega de un camión Forland del año 2022, para la recolección de desechos, el alcalde Míctor Fernández dejó inaugurado el primer Mini cabildo del municipio Barahona en el sector Casandra.
“Empezamos con la instalación de mini cabildos en los sectores, a los fines de tener un ayuntamiento más cercano a la gente, donde las personas podrán hacer sus solicitudes de manera directa en su mismo sector, hoy iniciamos en Casandra, Barrio Enriquillo y la Gran Manzana”, expresó el Alcalde Fernández.
El plan piloto contempla la recolección de los desechos sólidos con un camión del año marca Forland valorado en 1.8 millones de pesos, que será de uso exclusivo de esos sectores. Además contarán con un personal fijo de tres obreros, un chofer, un supervisor, un coordinador de brigada que se encargará de recogida y limpieza de las aceras y contenes.
Al acto asistieron los concejales Frank Figueroa, Belkis Sánchez, Marcel Almonte, Liseyby Báez y William Ayala, junto a ellos Virtudes Acosta presidente del consejo de juntas de vecinos así como los líderes comunitarios de los sectores beneficiados.
El mini cabildo abarca no solo el sector Casandra, sino también el Barrio Enriquillo y el sector La Gran Manzana. Dijo que es una promesa de campaña que hoy se hace realidad, y que así como ese también se inaugurarán otros en Los Maestros, Altos de Blanquizales que abarcaría los sectores aledaños.
“Nuestro plan de gestión fue diseñado para mejorar la calidad de vida de los barahoneros, y esta propuesta de abrir mini cabildos en diferentes sectores nos permitió colocarnos como el tercer mejor plan de gestión a nivel nacional, y no nos quedaremos ahí, vamos por más” puntualizó el edil.
