Santo Domingo Este.- El presidente Luis Abinader afirmó este sábado que el sagrado objetivo del Gobierno es mejorar las condiciones de vida de la gente que vive en condiciones de vulnerabilidad y de pobreza extrema, llevándoles asistencias y los servicios básicos que demandan a sus comunidades.
Durante un recorrido realizado por las áreas de servicios y asistencias instaladas por la Dirección General de Proyectos Estratégicos y Especiales de la Presidencia (Propeep) en la Escuela Juan Francisco Tamayo, del sector Génesis del barrio Los Tres Brazos, del municipio Santo Domingo Este, el mandatario destacó lo positivo de las jornadas de inclusión social “Primero Tú” que realiza el organismo dirigido por el ministro Neney Cabrera en todo el país.
Resaltó que en estas jornadas, que fue la número 18 llevada a cabo por Propeep, participan un conjunto de instituciones del Gobierno que trabajan por mejorar las condiciones de vida de la gente residentes en los barrios y comunidades más empobrecidas “para ir disminuyendo la pobreza y la pobreza absoluta en nuestro país”.
“Y por eso estamos aquí (en Los Tres Brazos) y seguiremos trabajando en los barrios, y seguiremos trabajando con ustedes, porque nuestro objetivo, nuestro sagrado objetivo es mejorar las condiciones de vida de la gente”, proclamó el presidente Luis Abinader.
Adolescente discapacitado
Durante el recorrido por distintos módulos de servicios, el mandatario conversó con el adolescente Estherlin Visón Lorenzo, afectado por discapacidad en sus piernas, quien fue atendido en el módulo del Consejo Nacional de Discapacidad (Conadis), donde recibió una silla de ruedas nueva.
El jovencito manifestó que muchas personas habían pasado por su casa ofreciéndole ayuda para obtener el importe instrumento, “pero hoy es cuando he podido ver cumplido mi deseo”, por lo que dijo estar agradecido del presidente Abinader.
El jefe de Estado cumplió este sábado un amplio programa de actividades en el municipio Santo Domingo Este que incluyó la visita al plantel escolar Juan Francisco Tamayo, donde Propeep celebró la jornada.
Dijo que las instituciones que participan en estas jornadas ayudan a los pobladores a mejorar sus condiciones de salud con los servicios que reciben y contribuyen a dar la preparación técnica que requieren jóvenes y adultos para que puedan lograr mejores trabajos y mejores ingresos.
A su llegada al plantel escolar, el gobernante fue recibido por Jesús Aybar, subdirector de Propeep; William Lozada, jefe de Gabinete, y otros funcionarios de esa entidad.
Abinader estuvo acompañado durante su recorrido por Iván Hernández Guzmán, administrador general del Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (Inespre); de la gobernadora provincial Julia Drullard; de los directores del INFOTEP, Rafael Santos; de las Escuelas Vocacionales de las Fuerzas Armadas y de la Policía Nacional, Otaño Jiménez; y de la Comisión de Barrial de la Presidencia, Rolfi Rojas, y del alcalde Manuel Jiménez.
Además, por los senadores Juan Antonio Taveras y los diputados Bertico Santana y Juan José Rojas, entre otros funcionarios del Gobierno y personalidades.

En las jornadas participan Promese-Cal, el Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS), el Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (INESPRE), el Seguro Nacional de Salud (SENASA), el Consejo Nacional de la Discapacidad (CONADIS), el Consejo Nacional Para Envejeciente (CONAPE), el Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP) y los Comedores Económicos de la Presidencia.
