INFOTEP y Adompretur auspician conferencia “Retos de la economía naranja en el desarrollo turístico, con enfoque en experiencia Colombia”
Santo Domingo.- El Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP) y la Asociación Dominicana de Prensa Turística (Adompretur) realizaron la conferencia “Cultura y economía naranja, transformando el modelo de desarrollo en Colombia”, dictada por la viceministra de la Creatividad y la Economía Naranja de ese país, Adriana Padilla Leal.
Con este encuentro virtual y presencial, INFOTEP y Adompretur buscaban compartir con los comunicadores el valor y la trascendencia de la economía naranja que abarca áreas vitales que aportan al dinamismo del turismo, como son las manifestaciones culturales, la industria creativa; así como la creación de contenido.
En la conferencia, la viceministra de Creatividad y Economía Naranja del gobierno de Colombia explicó los retos y oportunidades de la cultura, el turismo y la economía naranja que ha transformado el modelo de desarrollo en su nación.
Padilla Leal expuso que la economía naranja es un modelo de desarrollo en el que la diversidad cultural y creatividad son pilares en la transformación económica y social.
En representación del director general del INFOTEP, Rafael Santos Badía, estuvo la subdirectora general, Maira Morla, quien puso de manifiesto la importancia que confiere la institución a los procesos de innovación que se registran en la economía global.
“Hoy nos toca seguir nutriéndonos de aspectos de alto interés en la economía naranja, que es la economía del conocimiento, que involucra la generación de ideas, tanto las enteramente creativas e innovadoras como las que generan novedad en el contenido artístico, cultural o patrimonial, en este fascinante camino de crecimiento y dirección hacia lo que ya conocemos como el Universo Naranja”, indicó Morla.
La conferencia se produce en el marco de las relaciones estratégicas que desarrolla el INFOTEP con organismos y gobiernos amigos, a través de sus respectivas embajadas en el país, en este caso la delegación diplomática de Colombia estuvo representada por la encargada de Cultura, Natalia Gómez Bossa.
Yenny Polanco Lovera, presidente de Adompretur, destacó la importancia de esta economía que impacta directamente a la industria turística.
“Para los periodistas que nos dedicamos a la cobertura turística, esta conferencia nos permitió entender que la economía naranja contribuye a generar oportunidades para la comunidad local a partir de la identidad de sus destinos, territorios, los clústeres turísticos; también, a través de las actividades de índole cultural y artística”.
Polanco Lovera recordó que esta iniciativa forma parte del convenio firmado por Adompretur e INFOTEP el jueves 13 de enero de este año.
En su disertación, Adriana Padilla Leal dijo que, con el desarrollo de la economía naranja, en Colombia buscaban generar oportunidades, fortalecer las capacidades y estimular la libertad de expresión de los ciudadanos.
Además, explicó que la visión y economía naranja colombiana también garantiza el respeto a los derechos culturales por medio de la protección de la expresiones culturales y artísticas, generando sinergias provechosas con otros sectores económicos que permiten impulsar proyectos innovadores y ambiciosos.
“Colombia decidió hacer de la economía naranja una realidad, y ya estamos cosechando los frutos”. Padilla Leal aseveró que República Dominicana tiene un gran potencial para desarrollar y articular sus riquezas vinculadas a este modelo que impacta positivamente la población.
Carmen Luz Beato, directora de Capacitación de Adompretur tuvo las palabras finales, y destacó que “esta conferencia es una demostración de fe en el presente y el futuro de República Dominicana. La economía naranja generará más fuentes de empleo, aumentará el Producto Interno Bruto, al tiempo que produce bienestar”.
La actividad se realizó en el auditorio del INFOTEP, con la presencia de personalidades del ámbito cultural, artístico, de la producción televisiva, periodistas, comunicadores que cubren el área turística; así como estudiantes interesados en el tema.
En sus palabras de salutación, la maestra de ceremonias Wendy Mora destacó la presencia de la junta directiva de Adompretur representada por Luis José Chávez, José María Reyes, Carmen Luz Beato, Yubelkys Mejía y Juan de Dios Valentín.
Aurelio Henríquez, presidente del Colegio Dominicano de Periodistas; el mayor Richard Ramírez Peralta, director de Operaciones de la Policía Turística (Politur); Bolívar Troncoso, presidente de la Fundación Sabores Dominicanos; Arelis Tolentino, subdirectora de Formación Profesional del Infotep.
También, asistieron Luis Felipe Aquino, presidente de la Bolsa Turística del Caribe (BTC); José Rafael Sosa, asesor de Adompretur; Radhamés Martínez, gerente Relaciones Institucionales de Grupo Puntacana; así como representantes del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Prensa (SNTP) y de la Universidad O&M.
