Santo Domingo. – El presidente y Diputado Nacional del Partido Quisqueyano Demócrata Cristiano, (PQDC), Dr. Elías Wessin Chávez, señaló hoy que al no recibir respuesta sobre el Recurso de Reconsideración sometido el pasado 6 de abril de 2022, ante el Consejo Nacional de Educación (CNE) contra la Orden Departamental No. 33-2019, solicitó que se haga una clara y precisa utilización de los términos política género, educación no sexista y desconstrucción de los estereotipos de género, al tiempo que deberá definir en un glosario cada uno de los mismos a fin de contar con la precisión idiomática.
Segundo lugar, Wessin Chávez, pidió que se realice un estudio pormenorizado del ambiente escolar en la República Dominicana, con relación a las diferencias entre niños, niñas y adolescentes en las escuelas y/o colegios privados del país, incluyendo el ambiente familiar en que se desarrollan los estudiantes a los fines de determinar si existe una desigualdad entre niños y niñas.
Además, demandó que se incluya en el diseño e implementación de la política de género la participación activa de los padres, a fin de salvaguardar los derechos y obligaciones establecidos en la Constitución y las leyes de la República Dominicana.
El legislador, exigió que se someta este proceso, al control del Consejo Nacional de Educación de conformidad con lo establecido en la Ley General de Educación número 66-97, en su artículo 76 que dispone lo siguiente: “El Consejo Nacional de Educación es el máximo organismo de decisión en materia de política educativa y junto al Secretario de Estado de Educación y Cultura es el encargado de establecer la orientación general de la educación dominicana en sus niveles de competencia, y de garantizar la unidad de acción entre las instituciones públicas y privadas que realizan funciones educativas”.
El presidente del PQDC, Dr. Elías Wessin Chávez, reclamó que se declare la nulidad de la Orden Departamental número 33-2019 de fecha 22 de mayo del 2019, por exceder el ámbito de competencia del ministro de Educación Roberto Fulcar, en cuanto a su capacidad resolutiva, en virtud de lo establecido en el artículo 76 de la Ley General de Educación número 66-97, previamente citado.
Sostuvo que la Constitución Dominicana establece en el artículo 39.4 que “La mujer y el hombre son iguales ante la ley” y prohíbe “cualquier acto que tenga como objetivo o resultado menoscabar o anular el reconocimiento, goce o ejercicio en condiciones de igualdad de los derechos fundamentales de mujeres y hombres”.
