MICM y AZUL facilitarán ecosistema digital de pagos en pymes

Santo Domingo, D.N. – El Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes (MICM) y AZUL, la marca comercial de Servicios Digitales Popular, filial de Grupo Popular, facilitarán la inserción y el desarrollo de medios de pagos y transacciones digitales en las pequeñas y medianas empresas que cuenten con la Certificación Mipymes que otorga este ministerio.

El convenio suscrito entre Servicios Digitales Popular y el MICM contempla un programa de descuentos y precios especiales para que las pymes certificadas avancen en su ecosistema digital de pagos e incrementen sus ventas con las soluciones que proporciona AZUL. Desde mediados de agosto 2020 hasta abril 2022 el MICM ha emitido 20,562 Certificaciones Mipymes, de las cuales 1,139 son Mipymes Mujer.

En concreto, las empresas solicitantes que cumplan con los requisitos de afiliación de AZUL podrán disfrutar de descuentos del 20% en servicios para recibir pagos electrónicos, como su plataforma de E-commerce, el Link de Pagos, la Bóveda de Datos o la autenticación del tarjetahabiente con tarjeta no presente, así como la exoneración por dos meses de la tarifa complementaria o cargo por baja facturación.

Fortalecimiento social y económico de las pymes

El ministro de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes, señor Víctor – Ito- Bisonó valoró el acuerdo y su ejemplo como una iniciativa conjunta en favor de la sostenibilidad de las pequeñas y medianas empresas.

“Los nuevos tiempos demandan de la sociedad estar a la par con la implementación de herramientas innovadoras en cada producto y servicio ofrecido por las industrias. Este instrumento innovador proporcionado por AZUL permitirá que las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas puedan migrar hacia el ecosistema digital de pagos y ampliar su cartera de clientes”, subrayó el ministro Bisonó.

Por su parte, el señor Eugene Rault Grullón, gerente general de Servicios Digitales Popular, destacó la mejora competitiva que significa poder recibir pagos digitales, lo cual aumenta las ventas e incrementa el flujo de caja, gracias al uso de las plataformas de pago que más demandan los consumidores.

“El liderazgo de AZUL en el mercado puede contribuir a que nuestras pymes aprovechen esta creciente demanda, gracias a la más amplia plataforma de procesamiento de pagos y transacciones digitales con la que contamos”, indicó.

Además de las herramientas de pagos virtuales, en AZUL contamos con más de 38,000 terminales de pago físicas instaladas, lo cual demuestra el liderazgo de nuestra marca en este mercado. En 2021, nuestra facturación se incrementó en un 43% respecto al año anterior, con más de 96 millones de transacciones procesadas. Todo un hito.
