SNS informa climatizacion de UCI Hospital Jaime Mota está en curso

Barahona. – El Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS) informó este lunes que el aire acondicionado de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Jaime Mota está en proceso de reparación y estará funcionando a la mayor brevedad posible para continuar ofreciendo servicios con la climatización adecuada a  la ciudadanía.

La directora de Centros Hospitalarios del SNS, doctora Yocasta Lara, indicó que la tarjeta del compresor del aire se dañó y fue necesario solicitarla al extranjero debido a que el suplidor en República Dominicana no contaba con la pieza.

Precisó que la pieza tarda entre  uno a diez días para llegar al país, «se espera llegue en el transcurso de esta semana y será instalada inmediatamente», aclaró.

Respecto a los monitores, informó que los mismos están funcionando correctamente. La doctora Lara destacó que a pesar de la situación del aire acondicionado, no se ha dejado de ofrecer el servicio de Cuidados Intensivos, “identificamos un área en el hospital donde pudimos habilitar una UCI de intermedios para continuar dando la atención a los pacientes y tan pronto recibamos la tarjeta, será abierta por completo la UCI”.Reiteró el compromiso de la actual gestión del Servicio Nacional de Salud con el fortalecimiento de los hospitales de la Red Pública para garantizar que los usuarios reciban atención en salud de calidad y de manera oportuna.
