República Dominicana y Brasil fortalecen cooperación técnica para el desarrollo de la infraestructura de Calidad
São Paulo, Brasil.- Con la finalidad de fortalecer las normas de regulación de calidad en la producción de bienes y servicios de los países afiliados a la Comisión Internacional Electrotécnica (IEC, por sus siglas en inglés), el Instituto Dominicano para la Calidad (INDOCAL), encabezado por su director general Lorenzo Ramírez, participa desde este lunes en un programa de capacitación y mentoría con el Comité Nacional de Electricidad, Electrotécnica y Telecomunicaciones de Brasil, en el marco de los acuerdos de cooperación bilateral.
A través de este intercambio, el Indocal recibirá facilidades para el desarrollo de sus áreas técnicas de Metrología, Normalización y Evaluación de la Conformidad que servirán de base para la eficientización de las Normas en Eficiencia Energética que se desarrollan en el país, así como para la creación del Centro Dominicano de Información sobre Reglamentación Técnica para los Exportadores, Importadores y Productores (CEDIRET), a fin de contribuir a la facilitación del comercio y las exportaciones nacionales.
El programa contempla jornadas de trabajo entre el equipo técnico del INDOCAL con la Asociación Brasileña de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) y el Instituto Nacional de Metrología, Normalización y Calidad Industrial (INMETRO) de Brasil, así como encuentros con el Comité Regional Electrotécnico de América Latina y el Caribe (LARC) y el Comité Brasileño de Electricidad, Electrónica, Iluminación y Telecomunicaciones (COBEI). Los resultados obtenidos permitirán la mejora del Sistema de Gestión del Laboratorio de Temperatura y reducir la incertidumbre en la calibración de los medidores de energía eléctrica a través del perfeccionamiento de las Norma Técnicas.
Esta mentoría tiene un periodo de duración de dos años, actualizados a partir de la firma de los ajustes de los acuerdos con la Agencia de Cooperación Brasileña reactivados por el Gobierno a través del Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo (MEPyD) en julio de 2021.
En su primera jornada de trabajo, la delegación de técnicos dominicanos estuvo acompañada por el Cónsul General de República Dominicana en São Paulo, John Fco. Hazim Albainy.
