Santo Domingo.- Con la finalidad de seguir aportando en la recuperación del turismo local y presentar las principales opciones turísticas para Semana Santa 2022, fue anunciada la segunda edición de la Feria del Turismo Interno, Bienestar y Productividad “Quédate en Dominicana”, a celebrarse los días viernes 11 y sábado 12 de marzo, en el Jardín Botánico Nacional Dr. Rafael M. Moscoso, en horario de 9:00 a.m., a 6:00 p.m.
La información fue ofrecida por el periodista turístico Activil Wellove Modeste, quien agradeció el apoyo de importantes organizaciones, marcas y personalidades a este evento que confirma la recuperación turística y productiva que está viviendo actualmente el país.
Al igual que en su edición de 2021, -cuando se convirtió en la primera feria turística presencial en el mundo luego de iniciada la pandemia-, “Quédate en Dominicana”, será un evento con objetivos de múltiple impacto, que desarrollará acciones de orden social, medioambiental, concientización sanitaria, recuperación económica, enfocados en el turismo, emprendimiento y las fuerzas productivas.
La feria que cuenta con el apoyo de la Asociación Dominicana de Prensa Turística (Adompretur) y otras entidades ligadas al turismo, dispondrá de un área de exposiciones donde el público podrá conocer las ofertas de importantes cadenas hoteleras, clústeres ecoturísticos, excursiones, Mipymes, destinos emergentes, proyectos de turismo sostenible y comunitario y emprendedores; todo en un espacio ideal para el networking profesional y la integración de toda la cadena de valor de la industria turística.
Activil Wellove Modeste, coordinador Quédate en Dominicana dijo que el evento contará con la participación de destacados periodistas e influencers turísticos, quienes destacarán las más novedosas ofertas del turismo actual y contarán desde su punto de vista, su participación y valoración del turismo en la República Dominicana.
Informó además, que el equipo organizador diseñó una logística semi-presencial que consistirá en desarrollar un programa de actividades como: ronda de negocios, feria de empleos, talleres, charlas, área gastronómica, concurso fotográfico, orientaciones preventivas, iniciativas eco amigables y la exposición de ofertas turísticas en las amplias y naturales locaciones del Jardín Botánico.
Para los fines se implementará un eficiente manejo del aforo con distanciamiento social y un actualizado protocolo sanitario, basado en las recomendaciones de los ministerios de Salud Pública y Turismo.
