Quita Sueño ejecutará obras comunitarias con apoyo de la Superintendencia de Bancos

El desarrollo de la infraestructura en la localidad, con aportes de RD$40 millones provenientes de ahorros del presupuesto de 2020 de la SB, será supervisado por la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Provincial

El distrito municipal de Quita Sueño, de San Cristóbal,suscribió un acuerdo de cooperación interinstitucional con la Superintendencia de Bancos que hará posible la construcción y remodelación de obras comunitarias con una inversión de RD$40 millones.

El acuerdo fue firmado por el director del distrito municipal, Antonio Brito Rodríguez, el superintendente de Bancos, Alejandro Fernández W., y Ángel De la Cruz Hernández,presidente de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Provincial, institución que se encargará de la supervisión del convenio. 

La intención de este acuerdo es propiciar el desarrollo de la localidad mediante la construcción de obras de infraestructura que faciliten las actividades cotidianas y la integración económica y social de sus habitantes. 

La iniciativa contempla la construcción de aceras, contenes y badenes por una extensión total de 7,000 metros, 3.5kilómetros en su calle principal, desde la Carretera Sánchez hasta el sector Los Cacaos. 

De igual forma, los recursos transferidos por la Superintendencia de Bancos (SB) servirán para la construcción de la Funeraria Municipal de Quita Sueño, con un área de 427.70 metros cuadrados y tres capillas con capacidad para 30 personas cada una. La nueva funeraria permitirá a los munícipes realizar los actos fúnebres fuera de sus hogares.

El proyecto de apoyo comunitario contempla, además, el remozamiento del parque Piedra Blanca, principal espacio público de esparcimiento para los habitantes de la demarcación. 

Rodríguez explicó que, con su presupuesto regular, el distrito municipal tardaría cinco años en completar estas obras de infraestructura comunitaria, de manera que la colaboración de la SB implica un adelanto considerable en sus planes de proveer mejores servicios públicos a los munícipes. 

Asimismo, el presidente de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Provincial expresó que, aunque esta transferencia servirá para la realización de obras aparentemente pequeñas, su impacto será gigante en las vidas de los habitantes de Quita Sueño.

Los RD$40 millones aportados por la SB provienen de ahorros generados durante la ejecución presupuestaria en este 2020, debido a la cancelación de eventos cuya realización no fue posible ni oportuna en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid-19 y a la supresión de gastos prescindibles, comofestejos por el aniversario institucional y la temporada navideña.

El acuerdo firmado por los incumbentes de las tres instituciones contiene las estipulaciones que regirán la transferencia de fondos, garantizando el apego a la transparencia y la pulcritud en el uso de los recursos públicos.
