PROMESE/CAL comprará medicamentos para garantizar demanda del Sistema Público Nacional y Farmacias del Pueblo
Santo Domingo, R.D. – El Programa de Medicamentos Esenciales y Central de Apoyo Logístico (PROMESE/CAL), anunció hoy la compra de medicamentos e insumos médicos por valor de RD$929,859,716, para cubrir la demanda del Sistema Público Nacional de Salud y las Farmacias del Pueblo en el período julio-noviembre de 2022.
Así lo informó el director general de PROMESE/CAL, Adolfo Pérez, durante el inicio del proceso de recepción de las ofertas técnicas y económicas del Procedimiento de Urgencia referencia PROMESE/CAL-MAE-PEUR-2022-0008, para la adquisición de unos 440 renglones de medicamentos e insumos sanitarios.
“Este proceso forma parte de la logística de compra anual de la institución, y de los esfuerzos que realiza el Gobierno del presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, para que los ciudadanos de menores ingresos tengan acceso a medicamentos de calidad a bajo costo”, expresó Pérez.
Al hablar este lunes ante los oferentes, notarios públicos, peritos y el Comité de Compras y Contrataciones de PROMESE/CAL, Pérez resaltó el compromiso de su gestión, con llevar a cabo procesos diáfanos que garanticen la mejor calidad y precio de los medicamentos adquiridos, siempre en el marco de la Ley 340-06.
Pérez destacó, que en paralelo, PROMESE/CAL lleva a cabo un proceso de Licitación Pública Nacional que garantizará el abastecimiento en los hospitales de la Red Pública y en las 600 Farmacias del Pueblo diseminadas en todo el país, durante el periodo noviembre 2022-octubre 2023.
“Esto obedece a una estrategia a corto y largo plazo, para garantizar que la población reciba los medicamentos e insumos de manera oportuna, y mitigar así cualquier contratiempo que pudiera causar la incertidumbre mundial que persiste en el mercado de los contenedores”, enfatizó Pérez.
El proceso de recepción de las ofertas se llevarán a cabo este lunes 16 y martes 17 de mayo, en horario de 8:30 de la mañana hasta las 2:00 de la tarde, en la sede de PROMESE/CAL de Santo Domingo Norte.
