INFOTEP y Adompretur promueven el turismo responsable a través de la capacitación técnica

El Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (Infotep) y la Asociación Dominicana de Prensa Turística (Adompretur) aunarán esfuerzos a fin de elevar las competencias técnicas de los periodistas del área que les permita impulsar y promover el turismo responsable.

El acuerdo, con vigencia de dos años y alcance nacional, fue firmado por el director general del Infotep, Rafael Santos Badía, y la presidenta de Adompretur, Yenny Polanco Lovera.

El director general del órgano rector de la formación profesional en el país, Rafael Santos Badía, indicó que, mediante el convenio, la institución diseñará en la currícula del Infotep programas de capacitación orientados a los profesionales de la comunicación especializados en el sector turístico.

Santos Badía agregó que la alianza también garantizará la gestión de pasantías e inserción laboral para los egresados de los programas; así como el intercambio de metodologías y buenas prácticas.

Yenny Polanco Lovera, presidenta de Adompretur, expresó que la firma de este convenio constituye un paso de avance y fortalece la misión de esa entidad de contribuir con el desarrollo social del país, a través de la prestación de servicios e iniciativas de sobrada calidad.

Resaltó que el principal propósito de la alianza es formar especialistas en estrategia de comunicación turística, quienes estarán altamente capacitados para acompañar a los actores de la industria en la prevención y manejo de crisis, como aspectos fundamentales para mantener un sector fortalecido.

Con esta firma, el Infotep se compromete a facilitar las acciones formativas orientadas a los socios y relacionados a Adompretur, así como a diseñar y facilitar las capacitaciones según las necesidades de la asociación, y los profesionales del sector periodístico.

Además, ambas entidades también coordinarán trabajos asociados a la Consulta Nacional del Futuro de la Formación Técnico Profesional a fin de diseñar y construir los planes de capacitación conforme a los nuevos requerimientos del sector turismo.

Infotep brindará la asistencia y asesoría técnica en las áreas previamente identificadas. Al tiempo que Adompretur proporcionará al Infotep, la asistencia de especialistas y las informaciones requeridas para la detección de necesidades, para la implementación del plan de trabajo acordado y el diseño de las capacitaciones.

La firma del acuerdo se llevó a cabo en el auditorio del Edificio Corporativo Institucional del Infotep y contó con la participación de las principales autoridades de ambas entidades.

Expansión del INFOTEP en la región Este del país 

Santos Badía, aprovechó este escenario para anunciar la apertura de un Centro de Formación Técnico Profesional en la zona Este del país, específicamente en Punta Cana.

“Tenemos que reconocer que cada día nos movemos a una era digital y tecnológica, por lo que es fundamental tomar estos aspectos en consideración en la Formación Profesión”, puntualizó.

Asimismo, reiteró la importancia de entrenar a los periodistas de larga data para que tengan una visión integral de su trabajo en el marco de la cuarta Revolución Industrial.
