Los recursos económicos son la razón que impide un remoción y ampliación de la estructura para brindar los servicios de información.

Barahona.– El Clúster Turístico y Productivo de la Provincia de Barahona ha trabajado en proyectos “Diversificación de la oferta turística de Barahona y su posicionamiento en mercados locales e internacionales”, pero ha dejado de lado a la sociedad barahonera, siendo esta la de mayor importancia para cumplir las metas deseadas.unnamed-6

Una evidencia latente del divorcio entre la relación sociedad-entidad, es el abandono de la caseta informativa en la entrada a la ciudad, en las proximidades al cruce de Cabral, la caseta en cuestión tiene años en total abandono, incumplido con la misión para la cual fue creada, pero al parecer la promoción, la información y orientación al turista no está en la agenda de quienes dirigen la entidad.

Al cuestionar a la  Directora del Clúster, Elena Nunziatini, con relación al deterioro y abandono de la caseta, nos respondió vía correo electrónico lo siguiente: ¨ con relación a la caseta está cerrada porque necesita una remodelación por defectos de fabricación que la hacen inutilizable  por ahora  y una ampliación, el Cluster en este momento no dispone de fondos para la remodelación y ampliación de la misma¨unnamed-8Quisimos seguir indagando sobre otros temas relacionados con las actividades y ejecutorias de la entidad que preside, pero nos remitió a su junta directiva, para que sea ese órgano que responda nuestras preguntas.
