14 mil personas que viven con VIH SIDA tienen servicios de salud a través de SeNaSa

Más de 14 mil personas que viven con VIH SIDA tienen garantizado el acceso a los servicios de salud que requieren. Es una población afiliada al Régimen Subsidiado de Salud de SeNaSa.

Los servicios están establecidos en el Plan de Servicios de Salud (PDSS) 3.0. Este fue aprobado por el Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social (CNSS).

De enero a octubre de este año 2 mil 885 afiliados que viven con esta condición de salud recibieron servicios. SeNaSa invirtió en ello 43 millones 878 mil 583 pesos. Chanel Rosa Chupany, director ejecutivo de de la ARS Estatal, ofreció la información.
Estos servicios se refieren a lo establecido en el PDSS como apoyo diagnóstico, laboratorio y hospitalizaciones. Asimismo, hemoterapia, cirugías y rehabilitación, entre otros.

Por otro lado, los afiliados al Régimen Subsidiado reciben los tratamientos de su esquema terapéutico. Esto, a través los centros de atención integral del Consejo Nacional para el VIH y el SIDA (CONAVIHSIDA) en el país.

Afiliación de personas que viven con VIH
La afiliación de personas que viven con VIH SIDA se contempla en una resolución del CNSS.  En esta, se designa a SeNaSa para afiliar en el Régimen Subsidiado. Se tipula proceder tras el envío de una matriz que levanta elCONAVIHSIDA. Dicha matriz contiene los datos de los potenciales afiliados, validados por otras instancias del sistema.

Quienes viven con esta condición pueden solicitar su afiliación tanto en las oficinas de SeNaSa como de CONAVIHSIDA. Solo deben presentar una copia de su cédula de identidad.

Los titulares registrados tienen la oportunidad de afiliar a su núcleo de dependientes.

“En SeNaSa estamos comprometidos con garantizar los servicios de salud a poblaciones vulnerables” dijo Rosa Chupany. “De tal manera que encuentren en el Estado el respaldo para salir adelante y lograr calidad de vida”, enfatizó.

Compromiso con la población vulnerable 
Las personas que vienen con VIH SIDA forman parte de la población vulnerable que abraza SeNaSa en el Régimen Subsidiado. Más de 3 millones de personas que viven en condición de pobreza reciben protección en salud mediante este seguro.
Para ingresar al Régimen Subsidiado, el interesado debe estar evaluado y categorizado el SIUBEN. Esta institución es responsable de calificar a los interesados según sus condiciones socioeconómicas.

La afiliación al régimen subsidiado no tiene costo para el afiliado. Es financiado en su totalidad por el Estado dominicano, por lo que no pagan diferencia por los servicios recibidos.
