ETED realiza panel con directora de Ética e Integridad Gubernamental Dra. Milagros Ortiz Bosch
Con el propósito de continuar fortaleciendo la política de ética, transparencia, buenas prácticas e institucionalidad de sus colaboradores, la Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED) organizó el panel con el tema: “La mujer como ente vigilante de la ética y transparencia”, que contó con la participación de la doctora Milagros Ortiz Bosch, directora de Ética e Integridad Gubernamental y otras ejecutivas de esa compañía.
La actividad fue encabezada por el ingeniero Martín Robles Morillo, quien destacó la importancia de la ética en todo el accionar cotidiano del individuo, ya que, a su juicio, “juega un papel esencial en el comportamiento de cada persona”.
Robles Morillo consideró que la ética ayuda a mantener el equilibrio de las sociedades, como motor de la conducta “he resaltado que los países son fuertes si tienen instituciones sólidas y transparentes, ya que solo así se logra el verdadero desarrollo y bienestar para cada ciudadano”.
“Hoy tenemos mujeres que en el ejercicio de sus funciones aplican las normas de la ética y la transparencia para mantener una moral impecable, logrando con eficiencia sus objetivos y metas. Mujeres que se construyen cada día con valía, buenos valores y principios destacables. Mujeres que abrazan las normas, que demuestran honestidad y compromiso en su desempeño”, destacó el titular de la ETED.
Resaltó el valor de cada mujer en ETED y la encomiable labor que desempeña cada una para fortalecer la misión y visión de la institución.
En tanto que Ortiz Bosch, quien además es asesora del Poder Ejecutivo en materia de Ética, Transparencia y Anticorrupción, sostuvo que las féminas han sido transformadoras y propulsoras de los cambios de la sociedad.
Consideró que la falta de transparencia en la administración pública ha dejado secuelas negativas a la sociedad, porque si los recursos malversados hubiesen sido invertidos en obras y en servicios básicos, los dominicanos tuvieran mejores condiciones de vida.
Precisó que todo el que está sometido a una investigación es porque violó esa norma.
En ese sentido, destacó que esta administración realiza el verdadero cambio con la puesta en práctica de un sistema de transparencia, que se fortalece con la independencia que ha dado el excelentísimo señor presidente Luis Abinader al Ministerio Público para que actúe conforme a la ley, sin influencia de ningún poder del Estado.
“Tenemos el compromiso de luchar por un mundo más justo, y ese es un compromiso de la sociedad de hoy, de luchar en ese proceso de cambio para el pueblo dominicano”, precisó Ortiz Bosch.
Cree que la integridad y la transparencia no debe ser el compromiso de una persona, sino de todos los ciudadanos para construir un país del siglo XXI.
En la actividad, que realizó la ETED en el Hotel Embajador, con motivo del Día Internacional de la Mujer, contó con la participación del Dr. Bienvenido Santana Guilamo, presidente del Consejo Directivo de la ETED y otros miembros de este Consejo, además, estuvieron como panelistas la licenciada Katherine Cabral Dumé, directora Financiera de ETED y la ingeniera Isabel Figueroa, gerente del Centro de Operaciones de Red, quienes resaltaron la importancia de la ética y la transparencia no solo en la administración pública.
Al término del acto el administrador general de ETED, ingeniero Martín Robles Morillo, reconoció a Ortiz Bosch, por ser paradigma para la presente y futuras generaciones en materia de ética, moral y transparencia, atributos que ha demostrado en cada una de las funciones que ha ocupado, desde senadora, vicepresidenta de la República, ministra de Educación y ahora directora de Ética e Integridad Gubernamental.
