El director general de Edesur, Milton Morrison, visitó las oficinas de la empresa ubicadas en Azua, Barahona y Bahoruco para supervisar los avances en los trabajos que la distribuidora de electricidad realiza en esas provincias.
Morrison informó que en Azua dejó establecido una serie de proyectos cuyos trabajos iniciarán en los próximos días, mientras otros ya están en proceso de ejecución.
En cuanto a su paso por Bahoruco, el director general de Edesur recorrió los barrios Los Cocos (parte atrás), Buenos Aires y Vista al Lago, donde anunció la intervención de la empresa para solucionar los problemas de iluminación que se han detectado en sus calles.
Indicó además que se realizará la electrificación e iluminación del campo de béisbol que construyó el Gobierno en la comunidad El Estero, del municipio de Neiba, como forma de seguir apoyando el deporte y el desarrollo rural y urbano.
Morrison estuvo acompañado por la gobernadora provincial, Juana Mateo; el director técnico-comercial de la zona 4 de Edesur, Ángel Olivero; el gerente de Edesur en Bahoruco e Independencia, Ariel Galarza; así como el director regional de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Provincial, Jhondary Rivas.
