El presidente Danilo Medina visitó las zonas afectadas por las torrenciales lluvias de las últimas semanas.Escuchó las preocupaciones de la gente.

Se trató de un amplio recorrido que permitió al jefe de Estado supervisar personalmente los daños. De igual modo, el trabajo que se realiza para llevar soluciones a las comunidades afectadas.

Apoyo permanente

Los Comedores Económicos y el Plan Social de la Presidencia ya están dando apoyo. En La Reforma, del Limón del Yuna, provincia Duarte, inició el recorrido de Danilo Medina.

Lugares recorridos

Luego se trasladó a Las Gordas, en María Trinidad Sánchez. De allí pasó a Gaspar Hernández y a Veragua, en la provincia Espaillat. Asimismo, Sabaneta de Yásica.

El municipio de Moca también fue recorrido por el jefe de Estado, y en esa demarcación Los Pintos y Los Panchos. Allí los ciudadanos le comentaron sobre la situación luego de registrarse los copiosos aguaceros.

Acciones de Obras Públicas y el INDRHI

El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y el INDRHI intervendrán las zonas tan pronto baje el nivel de las aguas e inundaciones.

Atenciones inmediatas

Preocupado por la situación generada por las lluvias en gran parte del país, el Presidente emitió tres decretos.

Los decretos 340, 341 y 342-16declararon la situación de emergencias para Compras y Contrataciones en 8 provincias.

De las compras y contrataciones están encargados Obras Públicas y el Instituto Nacional de la Vivienda.

Las provincias en emergencia nacional son Puerto Plata, La Vega y Espaillat. Igualmente, María Trinidad Sánchez, Santiago, Duarte, Samaná y Sánchez Ramírez.
