Casa Bonita se quema casi en su totalidad

Barahona, RD.-Múltiples unidades del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Barahona pudieron controlar las voraces llamas que esta madrugada consumieron el complejo turístico “Casa Bonita”, ubicado en esta provincia.

De acuerdo con las autoridades, el siniestro se controló, pero a su paso consumió casi en su totalidad el complejo turístico.

Informes preliminares indican que hasta el momento no hay víctimas humanas, ya que los turistas que estaban alojados en el complejo turístico fueron sacados de sus cabañas y llevados a un lugar seguro.

Cuatro unidades acudieron para apagar el fuego, y también se unieron los bomberos del municipio de Polo, Enriquillo.

Este incendio supone un duro golpe para la economía de la región, principalmente para la comunidad de Bahoruco, La Ciénaga, así como otras localidades adyacentes, ya que en su mayoría los empleos son personas de esta zona.

El fuego consumió casi en su totalidad el complejo que tiene un concepto de “respeto y de armonía con la ecología”, así como el medio ambiente, ya que está techado en palma.
