Santo Domingo.- La Asociación Dominicana de Prensa Turística (Adompretur) realizó su Asamblea General Ordinaria, durante la cual se presentaron los informes de gestión del primer año.
Durante la presentación, la presidente Yenny Polanco Lovera dijo que Adompretur ha firmado acuerdos con el Instituto de Formación Técnica Profesional (Infotep) y la Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (Unphu), cuyos miembros se han beneficiado con cursos de inglés, conferencias sobre turismo y Community Manager; y recordó los acuerdos ya establecidos con la Asociación de Hoteles y Turismo de la República Dominicana (Asonahores), con el Fórum Iberoamericano de Periodistas de Turismo (Fipetur), el Archivo General de la Nación.
Informó que en el mes de enero realizó la reunión del Consejo Nacional como lo establecen los Estatutos, y posteriormente tuvo una reunión con los secretarios generales de filiales, quienes presentaron sus respectivos informes.
También, agotó un turno el director de Asuntos Regionales, José María Reyes, quien junto a los directores regionales le ha estado dando seguimiento a los trabajos que han realizado las filiales.
Informe financiero y de actividades
En la reunión se presentó el informe de las actividades que se han realizado desde septiembre, donde intervinieron los directores de Capacitación, Mercadeo y Turismo. También, se enumeraron las capacitaciones que han recibido los socios en las filiales de Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, La Romana, Santiago de los Caballeros, Sosúa e Higüey.
La agenda incluyó el informe financiero que fue presentado por el director de Finanzas de la institución, José Alberto Selmo, quien se refirió a las ejecutorias que ha tenido esta gestión en el primer año de gestión, el cual fue aprobado por la audiencia.
La presidente destacó que en esa gestión Adompretur realizó el primer encuentro con un ministro de Turismo, donde el señor David Collado manifestó su interés de seguir apoyando los proyectos de la Institución y de conocer a los periodistas que promueven el país a través de sus coberturas.
Puntualizó además la reciente celebración de la segunda edición del “Galardón Luis Augusto Caminero” que reconoció las buenas prácticas de la industria turística de República Dominicana.
Adompretur participó en la jornada de prevención cardiovascular junto a la Sociedad Dominicana de Medios Digitales (Sodomedi). Esta actividad se hizo en alianza con el Centro Cardiovascular Santo Domingo (CCVSD) y la Fundación Cardio Salud.
Próximas iniciativas
Yenny Polanco Lovera anunció que el próximo mes de septiembre sostendrá la firma con la Organización Mundial de Prensa Turística, en México. “Estamos confiados que estos acuerdos de colaboración serán de gran valía para nuestra institución y su membresía”.
Precisó que celebrará el 45 aniversario de Adompretur, la XVIII edición del Premio Nacional de Prensa Turística “Epifanio Lantigua”, la Cumbre Prensa y Turismo; así como la participación en la Bolsa Turística del Caribe y otras iniciativas que serán anunciadas más adelante.
Al finalizar la jornada de trabajo, la junta directiva de Adompretur agasajó a los padres en su día.

La Asamblea estuvo encabezada por la junta directiva 2021-2023, integrada por Yenny Polanco Lovera, presidente; Salvador Batista, vicepresidente; Sarah Wendy Hernández, secretaria General; José Alberto Selmo, director de Finanzas; Carmen Luz Beato, directora de Capacitación; José María Reyes Pérez, director de Asuntos Regionales (filiales); Luis José Chávez, director de Relaciones Institucionales; Cristian Mota, director de Relaciones Públicas; Milka Hernández, directora Turismo y Cultura; Yubelkys Mejía, director de Eventos; y Juan de Dios Valentín, vocal (Director de Mercadeo).
También, participaron los directivos de filiales Daniel Mercado, Raysa Féliz, Fidias García Cuevas, Mariano Cedeño; y de manera virtual estuvieron presentes representantes de varias filiales.
